Carina Moeller creates an intimate and authentic tango experience, both in Triangulo's classes and milongas. You feel like you've been welcomed into Carina's home; there's a great vibrancy to Triangulo and its dancers.-- Jay D.
And remember to bring your voucher with you on the first day of class. You must have this to check into the class you registered for your first time at the studio.
We’re excited to have you join us! Here are some helpful tidbits to clarify any questions you may have about what the Google Offers Deal includes or how it works once you’ve purchased it.
The classes are all one-hour long and assume no previous dance experience. They are appropriate for adults of all ages, and they are structured to teach you the basics of the Argentine tango so that you are ready to move on to the Advanced Beginner level after one month. You do not need to sign up with a partner, and in fact most students do not, but you are welcome to if you wish. The practicas are tango practice parties, where students of all levels come to dance. No new instruction is given, but an instructor is available to answer questions you may have. It is a great time to socialize, meet other students, practice what you’ve been learning in class, and try new things. The one hour workshop is a special class specifically tailored to the needs of beginner students to get you prepared to go out dancing socially and having fun!
After your first month of classes, you progress to the Advanced Beginner level. It is typical to stay in Advanced Beginner classes for three or four months before moving on to Pre-Intermediate. While the Beginner class cycle is the same every month, Advanced Beginner level classes and above have a different theme every month, and thus as you maintain your spot in that level, you will continue to learn new things each month. In addition to Advanced Beginner classes, the Wednesday Women’s Technique and Monday Milonga mixed-level classes are also appropriate for students at the advanced beginner level. At this point, you may register for the full month of classes (which comes with free practicas and a discount on the Tuesday milonga), or you may choose to drop into classes of the appropriate level at your convenience. The four week cycle of classes is still progressive at every level, however, so it is recommended that you start the first week and register for the month if possible.
Right now, December classes are available for registration, as are January classes, and we will continue to add subsequent classes for online registration as the months come up.
