item #6   Singing Performance Class

If you can sing "Happy Birthday" on key, there's a likelihood you can become a competent singer. This one a half hour coaching session is not for the karaoke screamer at the local happy-hour pub. Rather, it's for someone who wants to work on vocal production, interpreting the lyrics, improvisational skills, imagining who you are singing to and what message/feeling you want to communicate/convey. Other elements include stance, eye focus, the 4th wall and auditioning skills. So, if you want to improve your performance or want to test the waters to determine if the next American Idol is laying dormant inside just waiting to be set free, let's get started!

Gilbert Roth performed Off-Broadway in Gigi (starring Bob Cuciolli) and in numerous regional, dinner theatre and summer stock musical productions. His credits include the title roles in Man of LaMancha and Zorba. He was considered and called-back three times for the role of Javert in Les Miserables. Currently, he is a professional cantorial soloist and practicing attorney.

item #8 plane Hudson Valley Sightseeing Flight with Jeff

You'll depart from Sky Acres Airport, which hosts many historic aircraft and has a nice cafe. The flight will last for up to 45 to 60 minutes.

We'll probably head north over the village of Millbrook, tour the rolling hills of scenic Dutchess County, then west to pass over the Hudson River, tour the Wallkill River Valley, get a great view of the Shawgunk Mountains, perhaps Lake Minnewaska, then back home to the airport.....or we could take a southern track over Putnam County, if you so prefer, with a view of West Point.

This is a great and very unique gift idea for someone who seems to have everything. Old, young and everyone in between will appreciate this experience.

Scenic flights will only be scheduled for perfect weather conditions that will provide maximum passenger comfort with good visibility and a smooth ride. Should we take off and you feel uncomfortable for any reason, we will immediately return to the airport.

Most people describe the experience as "breath-taking and spectacular"! Also......"I could not believe what the world looks like from 2000 feet! At first I was a bit concerned about being in a small airplane, but WOW!!! The filght was smooth, and getting a better understanding of flight was worth everything, even without the view. Don't forget your camera!!!

item #16 country A night in the country

I am offering a night in the country, for a single individual or couple -- in a charming stone house or in the squared log cabin you see here. There is a romantic third floor bedroom with a balcony overlooking the rest of the property and a lovely, comfortable, old bed with mosquito netting. There is an Outhouse -- or, if you prefer, a bathroom in the stone house. It is located in Berks county Pa. near Kutztown, about 2 hours from NYC. Along with this accommodation is offered transportation -- if needed -- from downtown Manhattan and back -- as well as transportation to and from -- or directions to and from a major flea/antique market in Adamstown, Pa. -- forty-five minutes away (Sunday mornings only). Dates for this offering can be worked out between the successful bidder and myself -- probably a weekend night. You can be left to your own devices, or be somewhat entertained by the donor. There is a Sunday milonga in Collegeville, Pa. -- about an hour away -- or usually something going on in Philadelphia, about an hour and a half away. There usually are no cows in my back yard.
