spring and various other events at TRIANGULO

"Spring has sprung! The grass has riz!
I wonder where the Tango is??"

Well, silly, it's at TRIANGULO...your friendly neightborhood tango studio.

welcoming of spring party (friday the 6th of april)

O yes, fellow TRIANGULITES, it is most definitively spring...sundress and sandal weather (for which both gentlemen and ladies can rejoice, I think)...and we at Triangulo are VERY happy about it. So happy, in fact, that we are arranging a special Welcoming of Spring Party - this Friday at the Milonguita. So make sure to come to celebrate the glory and promise of warm weather, soon-to-occur outdoor milongas as well as life, love and other floral happenings...at Triangulo this Friday.

free friday classes in april!

Now. There is some other VERY IMPORTANT AND SPECIAL NEWS going on here at Triangulo. For instance, this month, in a fit of groundbreaking generosity, Carina Moeller is offering **Totally Free Tango Classes**. Yes, you read that right. But I will write it again just to make sure you got it: **Totally Free Tango Classes**. Let me explain. A couple of weeks ago, Carina and a few of her orange-clad tango mafiosas (yours truly included) were sitting around at Triangulo. Near the front door, you know the place. Suddenly, Carina got this crazed look in her eyes and said, "You know what, damn it, I WANT TO BRING THE JOY OF TANGO TO ALL THOSE HOPELESS FOOLS WHO ARE MISSING OUT." Then she stormed off, out into the wilds of West Chelsea. We were, to say the least, somewhat surprised at this little outburst. But, we figured that Carina was just taking the cold weather kind of hard. However, a couple days later, we saw Carina busy at work with a big red marker and posterboard. You can imagine our curiosity...which was finally satisfied the next day at Chelsea Market, when she unveiled her handiwork: a large and enthusiastically lettered sign saying, "FREE: Friday Tango Classes for Beginners - only on Fridays in April!" Well, I won't go into the details but basically the crowd went wild, and all those wacky Chelsea Market shoppers flipped out, because they were so excited! Free Friday Tango classes? No commitment, just try it out? What a concept!

Needless to say, we are THRILLED, yes, THRILLED to be offering the unique experience of free Friday tango classes with Carina "Twinkletoes" Moeller to anyone and everyone who wish to learn Tango. So all we need from you is to help spread the word. Know anyone who could really use some Tango in their life? Friends? Co-workers? People who do nothing but watch TV all day? Well, tell 'em about this!! Forward this email, with a little message that says, "Hey pal, thought you'd like ta know - you know that crazy cultic dance I do...well now you can learn it too, for free, on Fridays in April!" I am just kidding. Don't say THAT exactly. But you must admit that this is a fairly unique and exiciting opportunity. Come on...admit it. There you go. Okay. So tell the world! Viral marketing, people, viral marketing.

In case you missed it, here it is again:

Fridays in April. 7:30-8:30. Free Tango Class for Beginners. at Triangulito.

new $5 "drop-in"

Second item of business. There is so much excitement at Triangulo this month that my head is starting to spin. Luckily I have a clear sense of where my axis is, so I am all right. Ha ha. Anyway, in addition to the **Totally Free Friday Tango Classes** (and did I mention they are totally free?) we are also offering a special DROP-IN Program. Now this is pretty groovy. It goes like this: If YOU have never taken a class at Triangulo, you can "Drop In" to any level, anytime in April, for the low low price of just $5. Five bucks. For an hour of Tango Instruction. So check out The Illustrious Triangulo Schedule (conveniently appended below) RIGHT NOW to figure out which one you plan to enjoy.

Also, I personally welcome any and all feedback on your experience with this crazy spring edition of the Triangulo Newsletter. All kudos can be conveniently directed to the Mitra "Kupcake" Martin. When she is not dancing. Heh heh.

All the VERY best, from your friends at Triangulo.
