Dearest TRIANGULITOS.
It has been awhile since the last newsletter and the reason why is a very good one. For there has been no shortage of news to share with you, nay, on the contrary there has been a great abundance of Triangulo-related news that has been ready for-the-sharing. However, until just this past week, the electronic list containing all of your names and email addresses was inaccessible due to its being sealed in the annals of a server not far from where the World Trade Center used to be. Thanks to the intrepid efforts of Lutz we have recovered it and are again able to contact you with information of the highest priority and relevance to your lives.
Speaking of which, I really hope every one of you is fine and that nobody you know was hurt or lost in the Disaster. It has been hard for all of us (including Carina, Lutz, Alec, Sabina and I) to get back in the groove of things with this on our minds. But we all hope you're healing well and taking it easy in general. From what I've heard nobody in the tango world was harmed and I am so thankful for that.
NOW - onto the good stuff!
1. The Annual Triangulo Halloween Masquerade Ball is Soon! Real soon! Mere days away! So you have got to get your costume together! Remember last year's bash? Well, it was unforgettable. Check out these pictures of it. Anyway the Big Day is TUESDAY OCTOBER 30th from 9:30 - 1:00 and you have *got* to be there. There will be all kinds of fun to be had. Cover is $10, $9 if you come in costume! And, I would just like to let you guys know right now, that I have The Most Fabulous Costume in the works and nobody is ever going to be able to recognize who I am. So there. :-P
2. Fall Term Classes are starting SOON! Again, Real soon! November classes start October 30th and December classes begin on November 27th. As always class-related information is comprehensively included on our homepage. So, check it out so you can plan YOUR tango curriculum for the coming months.
3. Zen and the Art of Tango DJing. We have recently introduced on our totally happening website a a brand new section introducing the brilliant Triangulo Masters of Spin and dicussing important issues related the art DJing. Come visit at our DJs.
4. The Milonguita. Our groovy little Friday milonguita (8:30 - 11:30 - well, actually, more like midnight) has gotten some - um - *interesting* press recently. Visit our press release to see what I am talking about.
ANYWAY, so that's that! Obviously the MOST important thing to remember from all of this is the following pieces of information, which I will make totally clear below:

Tuesday, October 30th The Day Before Halloween will be the day of TRIANGULO'S HALLOWEEN BALL So, you should start planning your costume And watch out for exciting events which are to happen When The Clock Strikes Midnight on this very special night. |
