Triangulo will be offering a beginner and intermediate milonga workshop on Monday September 26th. This is a wonderful chance to build your confidence and polish your skills for Triangulo's Meat Market and Friday Milongas (Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the month). Join us for one or both workshops and learn how to navigate the dance floor while staying connected to the music AND your partner.
We also wanted to remind you that Triangulo offers a Free Beginner's Workshops at the end of each month. This is a great opportunity to introduce your friends, family and special someones to Tango and Triangulo. What better than to give them this first taste of this Argentinean delight in New York's best Tango dance floor?
Finally, Triangulo's first Gay Tango! class will open with a free introduction on September 29th, 8:30 - 9:30pm. We expect this to be a huge success and hope to see some new and old faces there.
Take note! Come to the Milongas on Tuesdays and Fridays! Pass the word on to your friends so that more people can share this beautiful dance. Try out a class for just $10 (for new Students)
Tine Herreman, our DJ for the 5th Friday, September 30th, will melt your hearts and lift your spirits with a fabulous selection of tangos, valses and milongas especially chosen for their beautiful vocals and heartbreaking lyrics, while of course being perfect for dancing. Be prepared to be blown away by the beautiful voices of Alberto Podesta, Raul Beron, Carlos Roldan, Alberto Amor and others, singing with Calo, DiSarli, Canaro, Laurenz, and Biagi. Some alternative sets, too! See you on the 30th.
