ENROLLMENT DETAILS

  • Special beginner package: $100 for all 13 hours

  • Attend one class per week for four weeks.

  • Miss a class? Make it up on another eligible class day within the same month.

  • Classes cannot be transferred to the following month.

  • No previous dance experience or partner required.

Beginner Syllabus

Hey there tango enthusiasts! Ready to dip your toes into the world of Argentine Tango? Join us for our Beginner Class where you'll learn the basic steps, techniques, and moves to get you started on your tango journey. Whether you're a complete newbie or have some experience, this class is perfect for anyone looking to improve their tango skills in a fun and supportive environment. Beginners are encouraged to take the course for 3 month. Every month will be working on DIFFERENT Variations from the syllable. After 3 month you are welcome to move to the advanced Beginner level.

Come solo or grab a partner, and get ready to dance the day away! See you on the dance floor!

Week one: Walking, connection, posture, shifts of weight and basic 6 count with rock step.

Week two: Walking the cross. Introducing Paralel system verses cross system.

Week three: Introducing Pivots: Forward and Back Ochos and Ocho Cortado.

Week four: Putting all the elements together .Finding new combination with the tools you learned and applying your technique to tango Vals and Milonga. You are ready to hit the dance floor and go out dancing.

We build a community so you can connect with your fellow students to go out dancing together.

We will send you Tango play lists you can listen to, to fully immerse yourself into Tango.

  • No Partner required. No refunds or transfers for missed classes however if you miss a class you can make it up within the month with a same level class or lower. We will limit the class to 8 couples. We change partners but you can also stay with your partner.

  • Never danced before. Give it a try.

  • Want to have fun and get to know a whole community of tango no matter in which country you are? This is the class for you.

  • Already danced tango for a while but want to brush up on basics and improve you lead/ follow skills, your posture and reinforce your tango vocabulary? Perfect!

  • Already danced for a while and want to dance the other role? Good thinking.

  • We are looking forward to meeting and working with you.

  • Wonder what age group the students are? Anywhere from 20 to to 91

  • You don’t have dance shoes yet? No worries, we will advice you where to get them if you decide Tango will be your new passion.
