Intermediate Argentine Tango – Sacadas

Take your Argentine Tango to the next level by exploring the dynamic technique of sacadas—one of the most exciting elements in social tango. In this intermediate class, dancers will learn how to enter their partner’s space with precision and elegance to create smooth, flowing leg displacements within the embrace.

We’ll focus on the mechanics, timing, and lead–follow communication needed to execute sacadas safely and musically. Through progressive exercises and combinations, students will develop better balance, floorcraft, and connection while integrating sacadas naturally into turns and walking sequences.

This class will cover:

• Fundamentals of sacada technique for leaders and followers

• Proper alignment, timing, and weight transfer

• Sacadas in parallel and cross systems

• Using sacadas within turns (giros) and traveling patterns

• Musicality and improvisation in social dance settings

People who sign up for the Immersion Class are welcome to take the 6pm class for FREE to brush up on their basic. 2 1/2 hours of dancing.

4 week Course $160, Single 90 minute workshop $45 plus free Beginner Class.
